Article au format PDF Une conception futuriste, un penchant prononcé pour lécologie, voici entre autres les caractéristiques du futur grand stade de Casablanca, attendu pour 2013-2014. Le projet a été confié à un groupe darchitectes marocains et français. Casablanca aura bientôt son grand stade [Zoom] Daprès le quotidien marocain LEconomiste, le projet devrait occuper sur une superficie de 100 hectares, dans le quartier Sidi Moumen. Casablanca devrait ainsi être dotée dun stade digne des plus grands du monde. Sa capacité estimée à 80 000 places est à peu près équivalente à celle du Stade de France. Le projet colossal intégrera une vision omnisports, et sera doté dune aire de jeu de 8,6 hectares capable daccueillir aussi des matchs de rugby. Une piste dathlétisme est également prévue autour du stade, de même quun stade annexe à lextérieur de lenceinte. Le budget consacré à la réalisation du futur stade est à la hauteur des ambitions quil affiche : 2,08 milliards de dirhams, souligne LEconomiste. Une somme que justifie la vision architecturale innovante du projet. « Le futur stade de Casablanca sera telle une rose des sables», déclare Abdou Lahlou, chef de file du cabinet darchitecte marocain Archi Design. 39 Weeks Pregnant! (Part 1)
